• Responsible for the service & repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and other low voltage control sub‑systems (e.g., lighting, nurse call, data networks) to meet customer intent and JCI goals.
• Accountable for quality, timeliness, and efficiency of service & repair and designs.
• Develop complex software programs, commissioning, and solving to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
• Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, sales and service teams, and subcontractors.

• Design, configure, and service technically complex building control systems for the customer’s facility.
• Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, schedules, and electrical schematics.
• Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per customer facility requirements.
• Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals, services, and/or installation.
• Select, order, and track the delivery of materials for assigned jobs.
• Assist in loading and commissioning of system and network‑level controllers as required.
• Validate complete system functionality and solve problems with subcontractors and other trades.
• Provide field change information for the creation of as‑built drawings and software.
• Keep management and contractors and customers informed of job progress and issues.
• Assist in performing site‑specific training for owners/operators on the total building control system.
• Participate in coordination and release meetings with sales and service operations.
• Perform value engineering to provide cost‑effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• May provide work direction to Service Controls Technician I and Senior I and Senior II Controls Technicians.
• Adhere to safety standards, with a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or at least eight (8) years of experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction, service, or HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
• Demonstrated experience in the integration of low‑voltage building sub‑systems using various industry protocols (e.g., LON, BACnet).
• Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non‑technical audience.
• Advanced computer skills, particularly computer‑related drafting tools.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.92–$33.65 (Hourly rate will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
