Universal Banker

• Provides services to customers in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while maintaining the confidentiality of the bank’s records and customer transactions.
• Educates customers about sales and service delivery options and refers appropriate products and services matching the clients’ needs based upon the client conversation.
• Processes regular transactions, such as receiving and paying out money, while keeping accurate records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions.
• Conducts client conversations to identify financial needs and potential solutions.
• Provides support related to branch’s operational activities and financial services.
• Offers information on bank products and services that can benefit the customer and enhance the banking relationship.
• Completes all sales and referral activity documentation to support performance tracking and future sales efforts.
• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies deposit amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability, and issues negotiable items.
• Performs special tasks such as preparing official checks, processing cash advance, accepting loan payments, redeeming savings bonds, and scanning daily transactions accurately.
• Provides safe‑deposit box and accounting support, if applicable.
• Performs duties related to Teller and Customer Service Representative.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Some college or better in Accounting or a related field (preferred)

• Previous experience with a retail bank preferred
• General familiarity with information systems architecture, including Office, Office
  365, Active Directory, and banking applications
• Familiarity with the Graham‑Leach‑Bliley Act and banking regulations
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and fraud procedures to safeguard customer information and bank assets
• Solid business and communication skills with the ability to prioritize workload and communicate clearly and concisely
• Computer literate
