Job Summary

Responsible for the safe transportation of hotel guests, cleanliness of public areas, and assistance with breakfast.

Duties and Responsibilities

Must be at least 25 years of age

Must have clean driving record approved by the hotel insurance company

Must be able to lift 60 pounds

Responsible for the cleaning of corridors, guest areas, service areas, and linen closets.

Empty housekeepers' trash and linen bags.

Deposits linen down the chute and carries trash to the dumpster.

Vacuums corridors and/or guestrooms.

Delivers rollaway and cribs to guestrooms.

Turns mattresses as directed by management.

Stocks supplies needed for linen closets.

Vacuums public areas.

Sweeps and mops service landings.

Mops vending machine areas and keeps machines clean.

Checks all public restrooms for cleanliness several times daily.

Checks each floor to make sure fire doors are open.

Checks elevators for cleanliness.

Assists with luggage handling.

Cleans rooms when needed.

Checks lights and changes bulbs.

Maintains outside grounds daily.

Assists in the unloading of deliveries and the proper storage of such.

Ensure breakfast is served and broken down according to hotel standards

Maintenance of the marquee.

Perform any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of the position. Perform and execute any requests made by corporate or supervisor in a cooperative and expeditious manner.

Physical Activities and Requirements:

Requires finger dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, bending, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
