As part of our produce team, you'll make important decisions about the quality of produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be on the front lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and can help enhance the member’s shopping experience.
Whatyou'll do
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to business needs and help work in other areas, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Be an Expert: Understand processes & specifications related to quality of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; use digital tools; use perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate products; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and attend to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing members' experience in the produce area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at highest quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the open‑door policy; apply these in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.

- Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
