Position SummaryDo you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through recipes and preparing ready-to-eat chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure freshness and assist members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.
Whatyou'll do...
- Be a Team Member:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively, and be flexible to work in other areas. - Be an Expert:
Prepare food according to specifications, plan future production, adhere to food safety, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, and operate and sanitize equipment. - Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, use handheld technology for production decisions, and encourage adoption. - Be an Owner:
Drive area performance, manage high exposure, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and assist customers following company policies. - Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, execute basics at high quality, exhibit energy, commitment, and passion. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and partners; identify priorities; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change.
- Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area.
- Maintain shelves, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality food products.
- Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
- Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies: handle claims, returns, zoning, arrange merchandise, and identify shrink.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time.
- Food service experience.
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
