The Assembly Team Member is responsible for performing hands-on assembly operations to build high quality, heavy-duty construction equipment at JCB North America. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production targets are met while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

• Assemble components, sub‑assemblies, and final equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and torque specifications
• Perform installation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components as required
• Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment
• Maintain production pace and efficiency while ensuring accuracy and quality

• Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects, inconsistencies, or build issues
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve product quality

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Maintain proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
• Support a safety‑first culture by identifying hazards and reporting unsafe conditions

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (CI) and lean manufacturing practices
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workflow
• Support implementation of 5S standards and workplace organization initiatives
