EHS Coordinator

The EHS Coordinator implements and supports environmental, health, and safety programs under the guidance of EHS leadership. This role promotes a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors by driving safety initiatives, monitoring workplace conditions, and ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs under the direction of EHS leadership.
  • Promote and lead safety initiatives that foster a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Monitor workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Help ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
  • Develop EHS training content that addresses regulatory requirements, company standards, and best practices.
  • Deliver EHS training sessions to employees and contractors, ensuring clear communication and understanding of safety expectations.
  • Track and document EHS training completion to maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement in EHS programs and recommend practical solutions.
  • Support the communication of EHS policies, procedures, and initiatives throughout the organization.
Essential Skills
  • Experience supporting environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs in a workplace setting.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Ability to develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication skills to promote safety initiatives and clearly convey EHS expectations.
  • Attention to detail when monitoring workplace conditions and documenting compliance activities.
  • Ability to follow guidance from EHS leadership and collaborate effectively with others.

  • Familiarity with company-level EHS policies and procedures.
  • Comfort presenting information in group settings and engaging participants during training.
  • Ability to identify potential safety issues and propose practical improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
