Responsibilities
  • Sales leadership & profit growth: take ownership of store sales by delivering outstanding customer experience, upselling products, and implementing promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Customer engagement & experience: use enthusiasm and product knowledge to provide personalized styling advice and enhance the shopping journey.
  • Expert piercing services: become a trusted piercing specialist through our training program and provide a safe, fun, and professional experience.
  • Operational excellence: maintain inventory accuracy, handle transactions efficiently, and keep the store well‑merchandised and visually appealing to drive foot traffic.
  • Team support & sales coaching: work alongside the Store Manager to train and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver top‑notch customer service.
  • Trend‑driven brand representation: showcase Claire’s products with enthusiasm, staying up to date with the latest fashion trends and translating that knowledge into compelling product recommendations and styling tips.
About You
  • Sales‑driven mindset: thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and looking for ways to maximize opportunities.
  • Customer‑centric approach: passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Retail & leadership experience: at least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
  • Confidence in piercing services: willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance.
  • Strong communication & selling skills: engage customers, build relationships, and close the sale.
  • Ability to work independently: self‑motivated, organized, and able to take charge when needed.
Job Requirements
  • Conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
  • Operate a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of retail management experience plus overall retail experience.
  • Stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11‑35 kg (25‑75 lbs).
  • Bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
  • Passionate about providing customers with opportunities to express themselves.
  • Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout visits.
  • Inspired by values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self‑expression.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and management.
  • Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
  • Driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self‑motivated and organized; may work alone in some store settings.
  • Passion for fashion and stay up to date with latest trends to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Create a curated fashion look with products during your shift.

Compensation and Benefits Overview

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. Final compensation will be determined by work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
