Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Position Summary
Provides member service; maintains the checkout area; resolves member issues and concerns; promotes Sam's Club products and services; provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology; processes member purchases; assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types; follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise; corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management; maintains entrance and exit areas; verifies membership cards; assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, transporting items; and maintains a safe shopping environment.
Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies, handles returns, identifies shrink and damages, and complies with company safety and security procedures, including emergency response.
Assists with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology, delivers program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity; upholds integrity, ethics, and compliance; and delivers results while putting the customer first.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Compensation and BenefitsHourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00*
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
