Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support access control processes. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Screen people, packages, bags, and/or personal items in accordance with site procedures, and report prohibited items, irregularities, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities in required logs and reports.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, shipping areas, and/or receiving areas.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location, which may include screening stations, access points, trailer yards, and perimeter areas as assigned.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
