Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Entry Screener in Pooler, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as a screener in a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and team members, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine security‑related tasks, and contribute to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Thursday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Friday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Saturday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Sunday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site‑specific procedures and supporting security‑related protocols at a busy distribution location.
- Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with posted procedures and client‑facing expectations.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details through appropriate channels.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entries, exits, and/or screening activities to help support daily operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a security‑related response.
- At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Guard card and/or license preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
- Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to background investigation pursuant to all applicable laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state/local laws.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
