Job Overview

This position will service the Savannah, Pooler and Brunswick areas.

• Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing solutions and outcomes during commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Recommend and implement solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service for HVAC products, including residential and ducted systems, air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers, AHUs, and rooftop ducted units.
• Repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines and screw chiller system components.
• Travel 10%–20% to support branch customers.
• Pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiency.

• Member of or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UA) of the United States and Canada, AFL‑CIO.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience on residential and/or ducted HVAC products, air‑cooled or water‑cooled chillers, AHUs, or rooftop ducted units.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chiller components.
• Willingness to travel 10%–20% for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services.
• Valid EPA refrigerant license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and writing skills for customer interactions and quoting.
• Self‑starter with a passion to learn and apply on the job.
• Commitment to safety in all work.

Pay Range: $35.45 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
