We're hiring a Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Technician to support commercial and school renovation projects throughout the Charleston area. Previous fire alarm or security experience is not required. We're looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn and develop specialized technical skills.

Whether your experience is in construction, electrical work, telecommunications, maintenance, cable installation, or another hands-on trade, we'll provide the training and mentorship needed to help you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

+ Install and support fire alarm and low-voltage systems

+ Learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues

+ Pull, label, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling

+ Perform device replacements, system assessments, and punch-list work

+ Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings

+ Work alongside experienced technicians on school renovation projects

+ Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards on every job

+ Collaborate with project teams to keep installations moving forward

What We're Looking For You Don't Need Fire Alarm Experience, But You Do Need:

+ A positive attitude and willingness to learn

+ Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

+ Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools

+ Reliability and professionalism

+ Ability to work independently and stay productive

+ Construction, electrical, maintenance, or technical experience preferred

+ Valid driver's license

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

+ Low-voltage cabling

+ Electrical installation

+ Telecommunications or structured cabling

+ Fire alarm systems

+ Security, CCTV, or access control systems

+ Blueprint reading

+ Commercial construction experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
