Seeking a dependable Fire Alarm / Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and support fire alarm and low voltage systems on commercial renovation and construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently.
Key Responsibilities
+ Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm and low voltage systems.
+ Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling.
+ Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
+ Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers.
+ Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward.
+ Follow safety standards and company procedures.
+ Manage assigned work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Required:
+
Experience with low voltage, fire alarm, security, or electrical systems.
+ Ability to read construction drawings and wiring diagrams.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
+ Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
Preferred:
+ Fire alarm installation or service experience.
+ Commercial, school, or institutional project experience.
+ Familiarity with access control, CCTV, or security systems.
+ Interest in growing into a lead technician role.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pooler, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
