Drayage Dispatcher

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles for pickups and deliveries
• Monitor routes and adjust assignments in real-time to optimize efficiency
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and warehouse teams to ensure timely service

• Accurately enter shipment details, delivery logs, and driver reports into internal systems
• Maintain up-to-date records of transportation schedules and performance metrics
• Generate reports for internal review and client reporting

• Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking for logistics personnel
• Verify hours worked and ensure accurate payroll submissions
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation support
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with payroll systems and basic accounting principles
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., TMS, GPS tracking tools)
• Demonstrate professionalism
• Have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Multi-task and set priorities effectively
• Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
• Accomplish goals in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent sense of balance
