We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Jockey Driver to join our logistics team. The Yard Jockey Driver will be responsible for maneuvering various types of trucks within the yard, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of freight, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced setting.

• Operate a variety of trucks including tractor‑trailers, roll‑off trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers within the yard.
• Safely transport freight between loading docks and designated areas.
• Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain compliance with all transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, routes, and any potential issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with freight transportation.
• Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, roll‑off trucks, and dump trucks.
• Strong understanding of route driving and logistics operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
