Linehaul Coordinator

Fed Ex -  - Responsibilities:
Directs the dispatch of transportation equipment according to the Linehaul plan;
Collaborates with Fed Ex field operations to plan contractor and equipment needs;
Coordinates and tracks processing and movement of trailers, dollies, and rental equipment;
Manages locally domiciled unassigned team logistics to maximize resource use and minimize tractor dwell;
Enter trip details into a Transportation Management System to ensure on-time delivery;
Verify equipment location and trailer load status via yard checks;
Report missing equipment and investigate schedule delays, accidents, or equipment failures;
Coordinate with Safety and Maintenance to monitor tractor safety inspections and ensure DOT compliance;
Review TLCRs (trailer load condition reports) for proper completion;
Communicate safety initiatives and maintain a safety-conscious culture
