Inventory Control Specialist

Location:

Pooler, GA

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in inventory levels. This role involves monitoring, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Accuracy:

Monitor and control inventory practices to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels.

- Inventory Discrepancies:

Research and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

- Inventory

Location:

Maintain product identification and location programs for efficient inventory management.

- Inventory Issues:

Develop solutions for inventory issues, including overstocking and stock shortages.

- Inventory Reporting:

Write receipts of inventory and track/report on uncommon products.

- Inventory Data Management:

Adjust existing inventory data as necessary to reflect accurate counts and locations.

- Inventory Audits:

Participate in quarterly cutoffs and perform counts with internal and external auditors when required.

- Inventory System Management:

Validate new items and enter relevant information into the Warehouse Management System.

- Safety Compliance:

Meet and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in all inventory processes.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in inventory control or cycle counting is required.

- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems or similar software.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Problem-solving skills to address inventory-related issues.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.

- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs as required by inventory tasks.
