Maintain records and perform health information functions including receipt, intake, scanning, indexing, quality control, destruction, and transfer of health information.;
Electronically scan health information documents into Vista Imaging and ensure scanned documents are linked to the correct patient in the CPRS.;
Perform filing, retrieval, and clerical duties for health records using terminal digit and alphabetic filing systems.;
Explain and assist staff in the appropriate nomenclature and indexing terms for health records.;
Retrieve records using computer-based patient history and locator systems; conduct searches for health records; recall and return records to appropriate locations.
