Family Dentistry of Poplar Bluff is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Work ScheduleWork Schedule (open to part-time):
Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm;
Thursdays 8:00am-4:00pm;
Some Fridays 8:00am-1:00pm
1 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix. Full-time is a minimum of 30 hours to receive the full benefits package.
Responsibilities- Provide preventive dental hygiene care and patient education.
- Perform dental hygiene procedures and document medical history and treatment plans.
- Schedule and conduct 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments.
- Collaborate with the supervising doctor to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Utilize Dentrix and other practice management tools as part of daily duties.
- Bi-weekly hourly pay with the option to enroll in Daily Pay to receive pay as earned.
- Eligibility for daily and quarterly bonuses.
- CE coverage available.

- Current dental hygiene license in Missouri and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
- Clinical needs as required by the office.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions; test arranged during pre-employment process. Not applicable in FL & TN where required by state law.
