Mission Mobile Medical is growing fast—and we’re looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator who’s just as passionate about people as we are. This role will be responsible for joining the CARE-MOM Mobile Program to increase patient engagement in women’s and maternal health services. The Community Engagement Coordinator will serve as a champion to bridge and strengthen access to care in maternal health deserts.
GeneralAs a Community Engagement Coordinator
, you will:
- Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations – including government agencies, non-profits, faith-based organizations, and academic institutions (college/university).
- Coordinate mobile clinic site schedules and ensure readiness of outreach locations.
- Conduct outreach and education in targeted communities to promote clinic services.
- Assist with patient intake support, appointment scheduling, and follow-up coordination.
- Support patient engagement strategies for underserved populations.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, health fairs, and coalition events.
- Track outreach metrics (events held, participants at events, referrals received, partnerships)
- Execute targeted communication campaigns in collaboration with community partners to support outreach and engagement for the maternal health mobile clinic program.
- Participate in webinars and training sessions to deepen expertise in mobile healthcare programs.
- Assist with operating mobile health unit, as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, social work or other related healthcare field - Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or healthcare navigation.
- Experience fostering partnerships with community-based organizations
- Performance:
Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders
- Understanding of community health needs, specifically in underserved populations.
- Demonstrated strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 15+ lbs throughout the workday
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or other language) preferred.

- We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Offers are based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. (Hiring range $55,000-$65,000)
