Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Mids, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess patients' condition and assign Emergency Severity Index.
• Provide immediate life-saving interventions and stabilize critical patients.
• Administer necessary medications and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Delegate patient care priorities in line with the education and experience of the staff available.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, SAMA or equivalent required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred.
