Travel PCU Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
The PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in accordance with the Nursing Process and applicable regulatory requirements. The RN demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills while ensuring the safe delivery of care. This position involves maintaining clinical competencies and supervising assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
- Ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Utilize critical thinking and judgment in planning for patient care delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate tasks based on the experience and education of available staff.
- Supervise and guide assigned personnel in patient care activities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Experience in Medical and Progressive Care Unit inpatient settings preferred.
