The Quality Assurance Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care across our Developmental Disability Services in Dunklin and Butler County. This advanced position promotes excellence and accountability by reviewing case management practices, managing utilization requests, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Provide a wide scope of activities for Developmental Disabilities Support Coordination services for a two‑county area.
• Work closely with program staff to provide initial and ongoing training.
• Audit the accuracy and timeliness of ISPs, UR requests, case notes, budget, and other documents.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases in relation to eligibility, support plans, progress, and possible changes in the service program.
• Conduct pre‑survey reviews to identify and correct deficiencies before SMH/CMS/MMAC reviews.
• Assist Program Managers in gathering data for reviews.
• Develop and maintain flowcharts and spreadsheets, tracking data and reporting findings to the team.
• As needed, manage a selected caseload of clients with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities in placement or natural homes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Possesses a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities, including the understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and the ability to demonstrate the philosophy and values of the agency. • Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or equivalent human services degree; OR Registered Nurse (licensed)
• Two (2) years of experience in case management in a human service field.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
