The Quality Assurance Outreach Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care across our Developmental Disability Services in Dunklin and Butler County. Provide a wide scope of activities for Developmental Disabilities Support Coordination services for a two-county area.

Work closely with program staff to provide initial and ongoing training.

Audits the accuracy and timeliness of ISPs, UR requests, case notes, budget, and other documents.

Attends interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases in relation to eligibility, support plans, progress, and possible changes in the service program

Conduct pre-survey reviews to identify and correct deficiencies before SMH/CMS/MMAC reviews.

Assist Program Managers in gathering data for reviews.

Develop and maintain flowcharts and spreadsheets, tracking data and reporting findings to the team.

As needed, manage a selected caseload of clients with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities in placement or natural homes.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
