The Group Facilitator assists the Clinical Team in delivering assigned treatment services by providing educational programming, facilitating group discussions, monitoring client participation, and fostering a therapeutic environment. This position plays a vital role in helping clients develop skills, increase understanding, and progress toward their treatment goals while ensuring services are documented accurately and delivered professionally.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions using approved curriculum and materials
• Create a safe, supportive, respectful, and culturally responsive environment that promotes learning and participation
• Engage clients in meaningful discussions that support treatment goals and recovery progress
• Evaluate and communicate client participation, engagement, and progress to members of the treatment team
• Document attendance, participation levels, group summaries, and services provided within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects services delivered, client responses, and treatment needs
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support continuity of care and positive client outcomes
• Participate in required training and professional development opportunities related to adult education and group facilitation
• Monitor client wellbeing and promptly communicate safety concerns or potential risks to appropriate supervisory staff
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or a closely related field OR
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment experience
• Employees in this position may be required to apply for the Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC) credential
