Homebound Instruction
Start date-as soon as possible. Pay rate is $35 per hour.
Primary function:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to provide homebound instruction for students unable to attend school due to medical or other approved reasons. This is a rewarding opportunity to support student learning on a one-on-one basis and ensure continuity of education outside the traditional classroom environment.
Minimum qualifications:
Must hold a current Virginia teaching license or be deemed eligible for such by the Virginia Department of Education.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Commitment to working with students of varying backgrounds, abilities, and needs. High ethical standards and personal integrity. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, school staff, and community members. Flexibility and reliability to travel between multiple locations in a single day as needed. Ability to promote and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
