Entry Staff Accountant

Description

Robert Half is seeking experienced Entry Staff Accountants for contract opportunities with clients in Port Angeles, WA. Our clients in the local area frequently seek experienced Entry Staff Accountants to support reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. Candidates must have experience with Dockmaster software. These are ongoing contract postings intended to connect with qualified professionals for current and future opportunities in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

+ Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

+ Help prepare monthly financial reports and schedules

+ Assist with general ledger maintenance and data review

+ Support month-end close tasks and accounting projects

+ Use Dockmaster software for accounting and operational support

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience

+ Understanding of general accounting principles

+ Dockmaster software experience required

+ Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Good communication and problem-solving abilities
