Job Title
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within OMC's OB unit. Promotes continuity of care for patients on the unit providing direct patient care as well as supervising the care given by support staff. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing and Olympic Medical Center. Cares for patients under a variety of circumstances including crisis or emergency situations.
Location:
Washington State's North Olympic Peninsula
Pay Range: $40.37 - $72.25
Union: SEIU 1199-RN and LPN
Shift Differentials/Premiums:
Evening - $3.00/hour
Night - $5.00/hour
Weekend - $4.50/hour
Standby - $4.00/hour
Charge - $3.25/hour
Float - $2.50/hour
Per Diem - 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits)
Certification - $2.00/hour
Preceptor - $2.00/hour
San Exam - $500.00
Education:
Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
Experience:
Two years experience in a hospital obstetrics setting preferred.
Licensure/Credentials:
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire for experienced labor nurses or within the start of labor and delivery orientation.
