Travel Medication Technician

Travel medication technician for a long-term care facility near Port Townsend, Washington. This 13-week contract offers up to $35 per hour for 40 hours per week, with day, evening, and night shifts. The role involves administering medication, documenting in EMR, and supporting resident care.

• Administer medications accurately per physician orders and facility policies.
• Document medication administration and resident responses in the EMR.
• Observe residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory.
• Follow infection prevention and medication safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, providers, residents, and family members.
• Support a positive, compassionate, and team-oriented environment.

• Current Washington State Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification or eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of recent Medication Technician experience, preferably in Long-Term Care or Assisted Living.
• Strong medication administration knowledge and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred if required by facility.
