Position Overview
Under the direction of the Clallam Transit System (CTS) maintenance manager, the maintenance supervisor oversees and coordinates vehicle, equipment, and facility maintenance activities with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and responsiveness to operational needs. Plans, assists, and evaluates vehicle and facilities maintenance activities and capital projects. Provides direct supervision to assigned personnel and serves as the department training coordinator.
Summary ofRequired Qualifications
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (GED) and two years’ experience scheduling, leading, coaching, training, and guiding employees.

Certifications:
A valid driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain a class B Washington State commercial driver’s license (CDL), with passenger endorsement and air‑brake restriction removed and a U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). CompensationSalary range: $38.69-$52.03/hour depending on experience.
Work ScheduleThe position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, non‑represented, and non‑exempt. The work schedule may vary depending upon workload and departmental needs.
