Must be available to work:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 1:30pm
Create a welcoming and positive first impression for members and visitors, provide initial assistance and direct them to the appropriate personnel or resources. Manage lobby flow, answer basic inquiries and perform miscellaneous support functions as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned greeter and support function.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining friendly, professional business relations with external members, vendors, and trade professionals.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with Credit Union personnel and management.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge:
Knowledge of the fundamentals of good customer relations.
Experience
Required:
Three to six months customer service experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication and public relations skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Cooperative and willing to assist others.
- Well-organized and attentive to detail.
- Able to use basic business equipment and telephone.
Preferred Knowledge:
Basic understanding of business service functions.
Experience Preferred:
Prior clerical or customer service experience helpful, particularly in a sales environment.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to speak and read Spanish and/or Vietnamese fluently strongly preferred.
STANDING:
For extended time periods.
FINGER DEXTERITY:
Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
GRASPING:
Using fingers and palm on an object.
TALKING:
Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES:
Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
Light work; exerts up to 20 lbs occasionally; variation of Sedentary and light work, both sitting and standing as required.
