Dean of Educational Programs

The Dean reports to the Vice President for Student and Academic Success and provides supervision, planning, and evaluation for the Division’s instructional departments and programs.

• Knowledge of administration and management; accounting principles; education; personnel management and development; human resources; customer service.
• Skills using Student Information System software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software used on college campuses.
• Skills must include managing financial resources; critical thinking; information gathering/organization; instruction; written and oral communication; time management; judgment and decision making.
• Skills to manage and develop employees.

• Applicants must have a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Experience must include college teaching, program assessment and evaluation, curriculum management and program development.
• Three years of full-time work experience in a technical field and/or work experience outside of an educational setting.
• Progression through several job levels is desirable. Four years experience in positions leading to this job.
