The position will work out of the Port Arthur field office located at 6300 W. Port Arthur Road, Port Arthur, TX. Candidates must live within 45 minutes from the field office. Work schedule is Monday - Friday; will work weekends and holidays as part of an on-call schedule rotation.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and assisting in the installation and removal of all electrical, mechanical, communication, control, and measurement equipment at assigned locations; performing a variety of operations, maintenance, and construction tasks to maintain safe operations of the pipeline and its related facilities; and ensuring the facility is operated and maintained in compliance with all Company and applicable regulatory standards and practices.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- An Associate’s degree in electronics/electrical, instrumentation or a related technical field or its equivalent in experience is required. Experience as an operations/maintenance technician, or previous experience in electronics and mechanics is preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to actively engage in safe behavior and understand and follow the principles and methods related to pipeline and workplace safety as established by the Company. Knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, policies procedures, equipment operating parameters, and all applicable DOT, EPA, FERC, DHS and OSHA requirements. Knowledge of system operation, pipeline and facility layout, and equipment capability. Ability to work without direct supervision to accomplish goals and meet schedules.
Knowledge of math, general science, hydraulics and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to think logically and remain calm in stressful situations. Knowledge of equipment, processes, and physical ability to accomplish the task as assigned. Ability to safely drive and maneuver company vehicles. Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures. Ability to test, setup, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of electronic/electrical and mechanical equipment to include but not limited to electrical motors (medium and low voltage), flow computers,…
