Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.

The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects. As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery.

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholder involvement, by coordinating and guiding subcontractor management staff. Your field supervision will ensure that operations align with established schedules and that work is executed using safe and efficient methods. In addition to subcontractor oversight, you will manage Bechtel's self-perform scope within the building for data cabling and telecom device installations.

This role also includes oversight of DCS equipment installations inside buildings and supervision of fiber optic (FO) contracted resources executing OSBL scope, including FO termination and patching.

Leadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision up to 25 craft)

• Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
• Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.

Planning / Productivity

• Determines workforce requirements.
• Coordinates established area operational plans.
• Tools, Materials & Equipment
• Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
• Prepares Field Material Requisition s for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.

Safety & Quality

• Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
• Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.

Technical

• Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
• Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9
-12 years of relevant work experience.

• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience commensurate with the type of work to be undertaken.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to develop 3- week look ahead schedule with regards to crane operations Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, procedures, and telecom installation practices.
• Ability to interpret and review design drawings, vendor documents, and installation instructions to identify and resolve field issues.
• Skilled in preparing and reviewing material takeoffs, purchase requisitions, and cost estimates.
• Proficient in tracking and reconciling material quantities using project databases and quantity tracking systems.
• Experience coordinating vendor deliveries, material storage, and expediting to meet project schedules.
• Ability to prepare and manage field change notices, extra work orders, and back charges.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering bills of materials.
