Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.
Job SummaryIn this role, you will support quality activities covered by corporate project quality programs with a main focus on the PBQ (People Based Quality) Program. You will do data analysis to determine process improvements and build quality focus around those improvements through PBQ. Additional activities will include assisting with other quality related activities like audits and surveillances, NCR (Nonconformance report) trending and solutions.
Your work will support project quality activities and contribute to project quality success.
- Create and maintain a strong project PBQ program
- Develop process improvements and focus areas around PBQ
- Supports quality audits or activities covered by corporate/project quality program/plans
- Extracts data from reference material, either technical or non-technical in scope.
- Reviews incoming communications for subject matter content and routes them to appropriate supervisor/manager for attention.
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt training or experience as a Six Sigma Process Improvement Team member
- Experience in delivery of training in a classroom environment
- Ability to use or learn various computer programs, Microsoft, Agile, Aconex, etc.
