Our client, a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking an Instrument & Controls Technician to join their team. As a Instrument & Controls Technician, you will be part of the Operations / Project Turnover Department supporting the commissioning and startup of LNG facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Instrument & Controls Technician

Location: Onsite - TWIC Required Area

What's the Job?
  • Oversee the execution of loop checks, calibration, functional testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems, including GE Mark VI turbine controls.
  • Verify systems are designed, installed, and tested in accordance with project specifications, procedures, and company standards.
  • Drive system completion and turnover by validating documentation, punch closure, and readiness for Operations acceptance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve instrumentation and control system issues impacting commissioning and startup.
  • Support turbine and process unit startup, including integration of Mark VI control systems with plant DCS and field instrumentation.
What's Needed?
  • 5+ years of I&C experience in LNG, gas processing, or cryogenic facilities, with direct commissioning/startup involvement.
  • Hands‑on experience with instrument calibration, loop checks, and functional testing.
  • Experience with GE Mark VI control systems and online analyzers such as GCs, moisture, and gas quality analyzers.
  • Knowledge of process measurement parameters including pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
  • Experience with turnover and system completion processes.
