# Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The Phase 2 project is located within the overall Port Arthur LNG site. It features one LNG tank, two liquefaction trains, and an additional LNG loading berth, enhancing its capacity to meet growing global energy demands.
The Project is being constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will contribute to ensuring field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements/specifications. #LI-RM1
# Major Responsibilities:

** Work Planning & Packaging:
** Coordinates the preparation of construction drawings, sketches, projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements. Contributes in planning construction methods and procedures. Interfaces in planning construction methods and procedures.

** Material Management:
** Initiates requisitions for field purchases. Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. Inspect materials to ensure specification adherence.

** Quantities:
** Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
+
** Safety / Quality Control:
** Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

** Technical:
** Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities.

** System Turnover Coordinator:
** For Direct Hire:
Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.

** STR / Subcontract Coordinator:
** Reviews and approves inspection test plans. Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals.

Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
+
Experience with Civil Site Works (soil stabilization, wick drains, excavations, backfill, culverts, ditches, etc.) or Piling (concrete, helical, caissons, marine).
+ Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
+ Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
