Port Arthur, TX (client on-site position)

9/80 schedule in the office/field working Monday-Friday. May work additional hours and days, including weekends and holidays as required.

Minimal travel is anticipated in this role.

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
• Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, preventative and predictive maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
• Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
• Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Plan or implement research methodology or procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
• Provide various reports as needed.
• Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation for the company.
• Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Assists other Departments and other administrative personnel as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Engineering &Technology: Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and equipment including but not limited to 13.2kv, 4160v, 480v, transformer, switch gear, brakers and relays, over current protection, motors, etc.
• Advanced Engineering Expertise: Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles and their application in a continuous-process industrial environment, with the ability to make complex technical decisions impacting safety, reliability, and business performance.
• Electrical Distribution Systems Leadership: Recognized expertise in medium- and low-voltage power systems (13.2kV, 4160V, 480V), including transformers, switch gear, breakers, protective relays, and motor control systems. Ability to serve as a technical authority for system design, operation, and long-term strategy.
