About the job:

Kent is seeking Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to support the GPX Greenfield Project in Port Arthur, Texas.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Report to the Mechanical Commissioning Lead Technician and support the planning and execution of commissioning activities.
Execute mechanical commissioning activities in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and commissioning schedules.
Perform Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns, equipment inspections, punch listing, and system readiness verification.
Complete Boundary Condition Sheets (BCS), commissioning check sheets, Inspection Test Records (ITRs), and turnover documentation.
Verify the readiness of mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, vessels, rotating equipment, piping, and associated auxiliaries.
Support pre-commissioning, functional testing, vendor activities, system startup, and commissioning operations.
Prepare commissioning reports, redlines, turnover packages, and daily progress updates.
Coordinate activities with Construction, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient system handover.
Identify, document, and communicate commissioning deficiencies and punch list items.
Comply with all HSSE requirements, Permit to Work (PTW), Control of Work (CoW), and project safety procedures.
