Job Description Primary PurposeDevelops and refines engineering solutions for components and subsystems, ensuring technical integrity and efficiency. Plays a key role in identifying design improvements, resolving technical challenges, and supporting implementation of best practices to enhance reliability and performance.
Duties And Responsibilities- Evaluates operational data to detect patterns and recommend optimizations.
- Assists in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for new projects.
- Analyzes project and operational expenditures to suggest more cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Performs calculations related to load, flow rates, material strength, and other technical parameters.
- Assess design drawings and provides recommendations to ensure compliance with project goals.
- Helps develop asset lifecycle plans for aging infrastructure and optimize replacement schedules.
- Leverages engineering software and data analytics tools for better decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Required:
Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Required:
Ability to evaluate trade-offs between cost, performance, compliance, and risk. - Required:
Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. - Required:
