Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Medicine team in Port Arthur, TX
. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive outpatient setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the community. The ideal candidate will have prior experience practicing as an NP and be comfortable managing a broad range of primary care conditions.
- Provide full-spectrum family medicine services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment
- Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner
- National certification (AANP, ANCC)
- Previous experience practicing as an NP required
- Prior family medicine or primary care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic environment
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Outpatient only - no nights or weekends
