As an Access Control Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support security-related procedures that help protect people, property, and operations.

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing access badges as authorized, and maintaining required entry records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access-control concerns, and facility conditions that may help to deter unauthorized entry or disruption.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
