• Maintain and repair coke handling equipment used in plant operations, including equipment such as:
  • Belt conveyors
  • Heavy equipment
  • Hydraulic and lubrication pump systems
  • Railcar loading systems
  • Coke drum un‑heading and re‑heading equipment
  • Bridge cranes
  • Pumps, motors, hydraulics, etc.
  • Other coke handling and refinery machinery
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures
• Keep accurate maintenance and service records
• Use maintenance systems (such as CMMS) to track work
• Support the Savage Maintenance Program
• Assist with other duties as assigned

• Experience with mechanical repairs and industrial equipment
• Basic electrical knowledge (24V–480V systems); PLC experience is helpful
• Basic computer skills for entering and tracking work
• Strong organization and time‑management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience working on conveyor systems and related components, cranes or heavy material handling equipment
• Preferred experience as a boilermaker, millwright, industrial service technician, etc.
• Experience with industrial maintenance programs or systems
• Ability to meet various pre‑employment requirements, which may include but are not limited to:
  • Valid TWIC Card
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug and alcohol screening
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review; valid driver’s license required
  • Fitness‑for‑duty assessment to ensure candidates can safely perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to receive and maintain site access credentials or badges per site requirements

• Stand, walk, and work for long periods of time
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Climb ladders and work on uneven or elevated surfaces
• Work safely around heavy equipment in industrial environments
