Pipefitter Apprentice, Structural Fitter, Marine, Shipyard

This company is seeking Combo Pipe/Plate Structural Fitters to join their team working on marine vessels and industrial components. The role involves fabricating, repairing, and fitting metal plate, structural parts, and pipe within ship hulls according to specifications. Ideal candidates will have experience in both industrial and marine fitting, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

• High School Diploma and/or one year certificate from college or technical school preferred
• Industrial and/or marine fitting experience (1st Class: 3-5 years; 2nd Class: 1-3 years)
• Ability to pass the Gulf Copper written pipe fitter test and/or hands‑on test when applicable
• NCCER card preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical manuals
• Ability to operate cutting torch, squares, levels, hand & power tools
• Physical ability to climb (100 feet), lift (50 lbs.), and work in confined spaces and at heights
• Must wear hearing, eye, head protection, and proper PPE
• Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures
