OverviewWe seek a Senior Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) Terminal Representative for our Terminal Pilotage Operation Division. This division manages vessel traffic and tankship support at Saudi Aramco ports, including the Juaymah SBM Crude Oil Terminal with six SBMs offshore.
The role involves assisting harbor pilots, conducting safety inspections, coordinating mooring operations, and monitoring ship activities during cargo operations. The candidate will be on a callout schedule, staying onboard during loading and sailing operations, and ashore between assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a terminal representative onboard tankers during loading at Juaymah SBM.
- Assist harbor pilots with mooring/unmooring, supervise hose operations, and monitor loading activities.
- Serve as cargo inspector for ship/shore cargo differences.
- Maintain continuous oversight of ship operations in collaboration with harbor pilots.
- Coordinate cargo operations and safety inspections, including pre-berthing checks and equipment inspections.
- Participate in SBM inspections and assist with training and mentoring junior staff.
- Handle emergency situations and adverse weather in collaboration with harbor pilots.

* Qualifications:

- High National Diploma in Marine Studies with at least 7 years of seagoing experience, preferably on oil tankers, or a Bachelor of Science in Marine Studies with at least 5 years of experience.
- Certified Ships Officer under IMO STCW regulations.
