Aboutthe Role
The Clinic Nurse is responsible for assisting the Health & Wellness Director(s) with day-to-day clinical tasks including but not limited to follow-up with resident providers; ensuring orders are received timely and entered correctly; assisting with components of admissions/readmissions; assisting with chart/medication cart audits; monitoring the clinic phone line and returning calls in a timely manner.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Clinic Nurse:
- Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
- Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
- Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
- In conjunction with Health & Wellness Director, keeps physician and family aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
- Assures continuity of services and care.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
- Assumes a proactive role in resolving resident issues and concerns related to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Functions under intense time pressure.
- Contributes to a positive, healthy, and safe working environment.
- Works as a member of the team.
- Accepts change in a positive manner.
- Performs any other relevant duties as assigned.
- Administers direct care as necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. LPN with a current license in Florida.
- At least 2 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living/memory care preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Full-Time 8AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday
Salary:
From $28.00 per hour
