Job Description Summary

To assist in the daily operation of oasis scrubbing and review/coding prep, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards/regulations.

• Review Oasis documentation for accuracy.
• Diagnosis coding prep of the Oasis on a timely basis.
• Communicates with field staff of any corrections that may be needed for the completion of the Plan of Care.
• Submits daily completed Oasis documents that have been coded, locked and certified.
• Reports any educational needs to Administrative Team as identified upon documentation review.
• Reviews inpatient and physician documentation to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality patient care.
• Performs chart audits as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Administrative Team.
• Participates with educational and professional groups as directed by the Administrative Team.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient medical information.
• Is knowledgeable of the Agency’s organization, functions and services.
• Promotes and maintains an environment that is compliant with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies.
• Complies with Agency dress code policy.
• Mants efficient flow of Agency by reporting to work at assigned or scheduled times; follows procedures for notification of absence or time off requests.
