Director of Nursing (Health & Wellness Director)

Brookdale Port Charlotte is seeking an LPN to serve as Director of Nursing for our 42‑bed assisted living community. The director will manage the day‑to‑day healthcare operations and ensure residents receive respectful, dignified, and high‑quality care as their needs evolve.

• Oversee daily clinical services and operations of the community.
• Conduct assessments for incoming residents.
• Attend on‑call duties as required.
• Interview, hire, schedule, and manage the clinical staff.
• Maintain compliance with state and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with community leadership, families, physicians, and other providers to coordinate personalized care.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to licensed nurses and direct‑care staff.

• State nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, with preference for clinical leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of technology.

• $3000 sign‑on bonus offered.
• Base pay will be determined based on skills and experience.
