LPN-Director of Nursing

Brookdale Port Charlotte is seeking an LPN – Director of Nursing (Health & Wellness Director) for a 42‑bed assisted living community.

The Director of Nursing/Health and Wellness Director manages day‑to‑day health care operations, ensuring residents receive respectful, dignified, quality care. Responsibilities include on‑call duties, assessments for incoming residents, interviewing and scheduling clinical staff, and supervising licensed nurses and direct care personnel.

• Manage day‑to‑day clinical services to meet residents’ health care needs.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity.
• Provide leadership, coaching and oversight to licensed nurses and direct care staff.
• Coordinate with residents, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
• Attend to on‑call, assessments, scheduling, and staffing requirements.

• LPN (or RN) with state license.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with clinical leadership preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of technology, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation.
